I have tried so many different cleaning services in San Francisco, and I'm always disappointed. I've used Handy, and it's inconsistent at best. Vital House Cleaning costs around 20% more than a standard cleaning service, but they do a REALLY awesome job. I really recommend them. I don't think you'll be disappointed by the product they deliver.

My wife and I just moved into our new place and it was honestly filthy. We've used a lot of services in London, UK (regular Homejoy customers) but Claudia's team of cleaners did the best job we've experienced to date! Every surface was cleaned as instructed, including high skirting boards that were raining dust before the deep clean! The apartment was scrubbed top to bottom for a good 4hrs and honestly, it looks and feels better than it probably did when new! a truly fantastic, professional operation. These folks are amazing! They came on time (actually, early), vacuumed my carpets, washed and dried my tile flooring, scrubbed the kitchen and dusted the cabinets, cleaned the stove with soap (and got rid of the bane of my existence - those stupid stickers that peel off halfway and leave their sticky half as immortal, torn residue...), cleaned all my window interiors, cleaned the bathrooms and left my shower stall looking brand new, and wiped the floor molding clean. All in all very efficient and delivered great results for a reasonable price.
